Job Overview:

We are seeking a Lead Building Design Specialist to contribute to building project design in Sydney.

About the Role:
  • Work on simple projects or sections of projects, progressing towards responsibility for project sections
  • Utilize standard engineering techniques to solve complex problems
  • Collaborate with engineers to analyze, design production, and calculations
  • Prepare detailed calculations and analysis of building structures
  • Liaise and coordinate with builders, architects, and services engineers on design issues
Your Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Graduate membership with Engineers Australia
  • Understanding of Australian building codes and standards
  • 0-3 years of structural engineering experience
  • Able to apply theoretical engineering principles to practical situations through analysis and interpretation
