Job Opportunity in Store and Warehousing

This is a permanent full-time opportunity to join the stores and warehousing team at our state-of-the-art facility in Moorebank NSW.

  • Operating computer systems to obtain details of stock quantity and location are crucial for effective inventory management.
  • The receipt and delivery of goods involve coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Organising and controlling the day-to-day workflow involves receiving, scanning, sorting, and placing incoming goods on shelves, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval systems.
  • Operating machinery such as forklifts requires training and adherence to safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Conducting stores tasks including account management and stocktakes are essential for maintaining accurate records and preventing discrepancies.
  • Contributing to collaborative innovation by identifying continuous improvement initiatives can lead to increased productivity and efficiency.
  • Assisting with maintenance record keeping and documentation ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Participating in monthly toolbox meetings fosters open communication and encourages employees to share their ideas and concerns.
  • Maintaining housekeeping of stores areas promotes a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Assisting the site supervisor with HSE site inspections helps identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • Australian citizenship eligible for a Defence security clearance.
  • Experience in a store and warehousing environment is highly valued.
