Parts Refurbishment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Storeperson And Parts Refurbishment Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our inventory of vehicle accessories and performing refurbishments using hand tools.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse environment, preferably within the automotive industry. Knowledge of vehicle accessories is also desirable. Additionally, a current forklift license and experience operating a forklift would be an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Internal customer relations
  • Providing assistance to trade staff with parts and goods from the storehouse
  • Managing stock levels, including consumables and customized parts
  • Entering stock into Excel and inventory system
  • Evaluating and testing parts and consumables for quality control
  • Repairing and refurbishing vehicle accessories using hand tools
  • Determining write-off and warranty parts
  • Receiving incoming deliveries and unloading goods
  • Coordinating the dispatch of goods
  • Picking and packing items
  • Allocating stock to shelves using a forklift
  • Communicating with manufacturers and suppliers to source specialized and specific parts and accessories

Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse experience, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Knowledge of vehicle accessories, preferred
  • Current forklift license and experience operating a forklift, preferred
  • Excellent face-to-face customer service skills
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Excel and data entry
  • A flexible and adaptable attitude towards work
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
