Job Overview

The Health and Safety Graduate role is a hands-on opportunity to support the wellbeing of teams across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough site audits, investigations, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Participate in projects aimed at strengthening safety culture through training, communication, and process improvements.
  • Visit operational sites regularly to provide guidance and support to frontline teams.
  • Develop strong understanding of WHS legislation, systems, and culture change practices.
  • Collaborate with site leaders to improve safety performance and drive cultural transformation.
  • Identify and implement effective safety solutions to mitigate risks and promote safety excellence.
About You

We are seeking an individual who possesses:

  • Tertiary qualification in Health and Safety or related field.
  • Proactive mindset and excellent communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders.
  • Confidence in building relationships with individuals at all levels, from frontline staff to senior management.
  • Motivation to continuously learn and commit to making positive impact on workplace safety.
  • Previous experience in high-risk industries such as construction, mining, or manufacturing is highly regarded but not essential.
  • Current driver's license and basic proficiency in office systems.
  • White Card certification is beneficial but not required immediately; we will provide support to obtain one if needed.
  • Eligibility for this role includes final year students or graduates within last 18 months.
