Job Overview

We are seeking a driven professional to fill the role of Lead Structural Engineer in our expanding team based in Brisbane, Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality structural engineering analysis and design solutions for foundation, concrete and steel structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing, reviewing and checking technical specifications, engineering calculations and scopes of work.
  • Mentoring engineers and draftspersons through practical guidance during the design and commissioning phases of projects.
  • Ensuring technical solutions delivered during the study and design phases meet design review processes and design quality requirements.
Requirements
  • Qualifications in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 7+ years post graduate proven experience in structural design, particularly in steel and concrete structures for mineral processing plants and/or related industries
  • Proven experience managing interactions with clients on design and drafting issues
