Residential Youth Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Youth Worker to join our team in Townsville. As a Residential Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to young people in our out-of-home care program.

Your primary responsibility will be to deliver a range of services to young people, including assistance with daily life, social and community participation, and skill development activities. You will work closely with our team to create a safe and stable environment that promotes the well-being and independence of our young people.

• Provide individualized support and care to young people in our out-of-home care program
• Assist with daily life activities, including personal care, domestic tasks, and social participation
• Develop and implement individualized plans to promote the skills and independence of young people
• Work collaboratively with our team to ensure the delivery of high-quality services
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

• Minimum Certificate 4 in a recognized area (must be working towards or willing to enroll)
• Current First Aid certification
• NDIS Workers Screening Check/Yellow Card (current)
• Blue Card (current)
• Police clearance (not less than 12 months old)
• Ability to work flexible hours, including sleepovers and weekends
