Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This role involves working within a dynamic infrastructure team responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of an on-premises private cloud platform.

The successful candidate will contribute to both business-as-usual operations and ongoing platform enhancements. They will provide day-to-day operational support for Red Hat OpenStack and Ceph clusters in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Support: Provide timely and effective support for critical issues affecting cloud infrastructure services.
  • Infrastructure Automation: Automate routine maintenance, upgrade, and deployment activities using tools such as Ansible, Python, and Bash.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain clear and concise documentation to support operational continuity.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Transfer technical knowledge to permanent staff through structured handovers and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Candidate Profile: Demonstrated experience in deploying, administering, and supporting large-scale on-premises Red Hat OpenStack environments.
  • Infrastructure Skills: Proficiency in infrastructure automation using tools such as Ansible, Python, and Bash.
  • Storage Expertise: Experience in the design, deployment, and support of large-scale Red Hat Ceph storage clusters (desirable).
  • Kubernetes Administration: Experience in OpenShift/Kubernetes administration in an on-premises enterprise environment (desirable).
  • Hardware Management: Experience managing and troubleshooting enterprise-grade physical hardware and networking used in cloud infrastructure platforms (desirable).
