We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Manager to join our team at Amazon. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Amazon Associates, with a focus on motivating, mentoring, and coaching them to achieve exceptional results.

As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Amazon Associates, providing guidance, support, and resources to help them achieve their goals and objectives.
Drive Safety and Quality InitiativesYou will be responsible for creating and implementing a culture of safety and wellbeing within your team, analyzing and implementing changes to maintain high levels of quality and productivity.
Streamline Processes and Improve EfficiencyAs an Area Manager, you will oversee projects to streamline processes, optimize productivity, and increase the quality of service for customers within your area of responsibility.
Analyze and Improve Operational ExcellenceYou will analyze shift performance against relevant business objectives and put in place actions to improve operational excellence, working collaboratively with management-level colleagues to standardize shift practices.
A Day in the LifeAs an Area Manager, you will work on a shift pattern at one of our sites, focusing on creating a culture of safety and upholding quality and shift performance standards. You will also oversee process improvements within your area and drive implementation, serving as a role model and mentor to new managers.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree
- Relevant experience in people management
- Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership
- Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions
- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and local language
While not required, experience working with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques, as well as experience working in another logistics environment, are highly valued.
