About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Portfolio Manager to join our Commercial team in Perth.

The role offers a unique opportunity to originate, retain, and manage a portfolio of clients, leveraging your expertise in commercial lending to drive business growth.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote our commercial product offering to core clients, developing tailored solutions to meet their financial objectives.
  • Consistently meet and/or exceed individual margin and volume targets, with a strong focus on book growth.
  • Drive client acquisition, volume/margin, and primary client relationship and satisfaction, working closely with internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Associate Relationship Manager to develop ongoing and quality client relationships.
  • Manage relationships with clients, leveraging internal resources to maximise client satisfaction and retention.
  • Proactively work with clients and their accountants to understand financial objectives and implement plans to realise these goals.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in commercial lending, with a proven track record of driving business growth.
  • Tertiary education desirable, with relevant qualifications in finance or a related field.
  • Small business experience desirable, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by small business owners.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • The ability to meet KPI targets, with a strong focus on delivering results-driven outcomes.
