Regulatory Reporting Specialist

About the RoleAs a Regulatory Reporting Specialist in our team, you'll play a key role in supporting the Financial Regulatory Reporting Manager to report Financial based regulatory Returns to the Regulators. Your role will involve working closely with the team to ensure governance matters are well managed across the Reg COE, including escalations, resubmissions, change requests, documentation of regulatory reporting business rules, interpretations, assumptions, and related registers.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory reporting requirements
- Implement and monitor the Group's accounting policies and internal control frameworks
- Deliver accurate, reliable, and timely financial information
- Drive the Future of Finance simplification agenda, ensuring consistency with objectives and a focus on continuous improvement
- Embed a strong governance culture
- Financial Analysis - proficient at sourcing data and undertaking financial analysis, providing insight and analytical reviews
- Communication - strong visual and written communication skills to communicate initiatives, projects, ideas or progress to senior stakeholders
- Collaboration – able to work with diverse groups of people, sharing knowledge, skills and insight to achieve mutually beneficial goals
- Continuous/Process Improvement – demonstrated initiative to have a continuous improvement mindset
- Regulatory Reporting or Statutory Reporting within the financial services industry
- Experience in a Markets/Trading area, along with understanding of Derivatives and other Markets/Treasury transactions
