Financial Markets Policy Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Policy Advisor to play a pivotal role in shaping public policy for the financial markets. Reporting directly to the Head of Regulatory Strategy, you will be part of a growing team responsible for managing regulatory engagement, policy positions, and industry liaison.
As a key member of the team, you will analyze public policy and its impacts on our organization, communicate internal policy positions, and influence outcomes. Building relationships with policymakers, regulators, and industry stakeholders is essential to support business initiatives. This includes drafting submissions in response to government consultations and monitoring financial sector policy issues and trends.
The ideal candidate has at least 7-10 years of experience in public policy advice, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Academic backgrounds in law, economics, or political science are preferred. Experience in financial markets and/or banking and financial services is highly desirable.
