This is an opportunity to join a dedicated midwifery team at North West Hospital and Health Service, where you will have the chance to support your clinical learning experience and contribute to the provision of quality nursing services.
Key Responsibilities- To experience all facets of midwifery through rotations in various areas, including the Special Care Nursery.
- To join a team within the Maternity unit and provide clinical, woman-centered care that leads to positive outcomes for women and their babies.
- To support the facilitation and provision of quality and fiscally responsible nursing services that are consistent with contemporary standards and evidence-informed practice.
- Current enrollment in a postgraduate midwifery course or obtain enrollment acceptance by a specified deadline.
- Mandatory requirements include a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licenses.
- This position may require working on call, continuous shift rotations, and weekend work as per departmental business requirements.
- The position may involve travel to various facilities within the North West Hospital and Health Service.
- Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
- This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to certain diseases.
- A period of probation may apply.
