We are seeking a skilled and motivated graduate to join our team as a Environmental Consultant. As a key member of our Contaminated Land Management team, you will be responsible for developing practical skills in contaminated land management and learning directly from in-house technical leaders.
You will work alongside experienced consultants on real, diverse projects — from initial site investigations to remediation and closure. This is an excellent opportunity to build your technical and fieldwork skills, develop confidence in client communication, and get access to structured training, mentoring, and professional development tailored to kick-start your consulting career.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop field experience and knowledge in sampling methodologies for soil, soil vapor, indoor air, ambient air, hazardous materials, groundwater, and surface water.
- Support accurate reporting activities, including maintaining field notes, site descriptions, logs, analytical summary tables, and basic reporting tasks.
- Develop computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office and industry-specific programs.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and communicate project updates as required.
- Develop relationships with clients and ensure high-quality customer service throughout projects.
- Tertiary qualification in Science or Engineering is essential, with an understanding of earth sciences highly desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with a range of stakeholders to achieve desirable outcomes.
- Excellent time management and ability to manage and prioritize deadlines.
- Proactive and motivated approach to learning.
- Full driver's license, and willingness to obtain a police and medical clearance.
