Job Title: Head Veterinary Nurse

Are you a passionate and experienced veterinary nurse ready to take the next step in your career? Kew Vet & Cattery is seeking a confident and compassionate Full-time Head Veterinary Nurse to lead our nursing team.

Job Description:
  • Lead and manage the nursing team with empathy and professionalism
  • Assist in surgical and medical procedures
  • Oversee patient care, infection control, and clinical protocols
  • Coordinate nurse rosters and training plans
  • Support and maintain a positive workplace culture
  • Liaise with clients to provide outstanding customer service and patient education
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in small animal practice
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A proactive and organised approach to team management
  • Passion for high standards in patient care and client service
  • Experience in training or mentoring nurses is highly regarded
