Structural Design Expertise
We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in Melbourne. This role involves delivering high-quality structural design solutions for power infrastructure, including substations, transmission line structures, foundations, switchyards and renewable energy assets.
In this position, you will contribute to designing innovative and sustainable solutions for clients working both in the office and on-site. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across structural, civil and electrical disciplines, gaining exposure to major energy projects while developing your technical expertise and client-facing skills.
About the Role
To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering and a solid understanding of structural design principles for power infrastructure. You should also be eager to take on new technical challenges, be organized, detail-oriented and motivated to play a key role in delivering projects that support the transition to a more resilient and sustainable energy network.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in structural design within a professional services or consulting environment.
- An interest in project delivery including involvement in design, documentation and construction phase support.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
- A client-focused mindset with a willingness to develop industry knowledge and relationships.
- A passion for continuous learning and a desire to grow into a leadership role over time.
