The Australian Submarine Agency is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Assistant Director Enabler Capability Analysis Coordination. This position will play a critical role in the acquisition of conventionally-armed, nuclear-powered submarines, a historic and transformative endeavour for Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of analysts who will facilitate capability management support to areas within the Australian Submarine Agency that provide critical expert inputs to the NPS program. This includes workforce, Information Knowledge Management, Policy and Nuclear-related disciplines. The role will oversee the integration of these critical enablers into the Program, ensuring their work is scheduled, risks captured and costs understood and embedded in core program management artefacts. The successful candidate will be accountable under broad direction to manage a multidisciplinary team of program management specialists to engage with ASA's key enabling areas and ensure that their work is integrated into the Program's core program management artefacts. Leading a team of analysts, they will exercise sound decision making and judgement to ensure capability enabler integration within the NPS Program. They must be able to organise and manage work against deadlines and proactively engage with stakeholders to support senior executive decision-making in the Program. The Australian Submarine Agency is a dynamic organization seeking employees who are agile, innovative and energised by high-paced work.
