We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Education Assistant to join our dynamic team. As an Education Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs to reach their full potential.
Under the guidance of teachers, you will assist in the delivery of educational programs, providing support and feedback to students, parents, and teaching professionals. Your primary focus will be on helping students develop their academic, social, emotional, and physical skills, including the use of technology and digital tools.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the development and implementation of educational programs for students with special needs
- Provide individualized support and feedback to students, parents, and teaching professionals
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to meet the diverse needs of students
- Contribute to the evaluation and improvement of educational programs
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrated good written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with staff members
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- A high level of empathy and understanding when working with students with special needs
- Experience in working with students with a range of disabilities and learning difficulties
- Knowledge of health and physical disabilities in students and adolescents
- Ability to provide feedback and contribute to the evaluation process
