Senior Business Analyst Position

  • The ideal candidate will possess strong domain knowledge in trade life cycles, market risk, and front-to-back trading workflows.

We are seeking an experienced professional who can engage closely with traders, risk managers, and middle office to gather and document functional requirements related to trade booking, life cycle events, and risk reporting.

  • Analyze current processes and system behaviors to identify gaps, inefficiencies, or compliance risks.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, ensuring alignment with global architecture and best practices.
  • Design workflows, data flows, and use cases to support enhancement proposals and ensure traceability.

This position requires a deep understanding of trading concepts such as Greeks, VaR, PnL explain, trade capture, and curve management. You will also need proficiency in data handling and querying using SQL, Excel, and scripting for analysis.

  • You will act as the functional bridge between business users and IT development teams, defining UAT test scenarios and scripts aligned with business requirements.
  • Coordinate and support user testing, including data validation, regression testing, and issue resolution.

Requirements:

  • Mid-Senior level professional with 10+ years of experience in business analysis within trading, commodities, or financial services environments.
