Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced leader to fill the role of Nominated Supervisor in a dynamic and dedicated team providing high-quality education and care services to school-aged children.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Foster strong relationships with families to support their needs and create a collaborative environment
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with national laws and regulations, as well as relevant legislation
  • Develop and implement centre policies and Quality Improvement Plans to drive continuous improvement
  • Cultivate a culture of excellence among staff and management, promoting effective teamwork and communication
  • Demonstrate expertise in education and care provision for children, ensuring their safety and well-being
  • Lead and manage an education and care service with integrity and professionalism

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated administrative skills, including curriculum development, parent liaison, staff professional development, and training
  • Adequate understanding and working knowledge of WHS legislation
  • A commitment to accepting the role of Nominated Supervisor under the Children (Education and Care Services National Law Application) Bill 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulations
  • Ability to support the My Time Our Place Framework for School Aged Children through the centre's curriculum
  • Experience in managing budgets for early education or OOSH centres

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Children's Services or Certificate III in Children's Services (minimum of 3 years' experience)
  • Working with Children Check verification number
  • Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training
  • Child protection qualification
