About the Role

CareSouth is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Payroll Officer to join our team in a part-time, permanent capacity. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of fortnightly payroll for our organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: End-to-end payroll processing for salaried and casual staff, including data entry into our HRIS database.
  • Financial Analysis: Interpreting Award and employee contracts to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Communication: Responding to and resolving complex payroll queries with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 12 months experience in a payroll or accounts-related role.
  • Skills: Advanced computer literacy, fluent in Word, Excel, and Outlook, with a sound working knowledge of finance software systems.
  • Education: Relevant tertiary qualification or working towards.
  • Personal Qualities: Good written and verbal communication skills, proficient organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
