Process Operations Manager Role Overview

The Process Operations Manager role involves leading a dynamic team to support the collection, treatment, processing and recycling of liquid and hazardous waste.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all records and paperwork are completed correctly, as directed and required by law and regulators
  • Implement safe work practices and adherence to policies and procedures, including reporting of unsafe practices and potential and actual incidents
  • Supervise and assist in the training of process operators
  • Prepare and document waste products for removal from site
  • Perform loading and unloading of packaged waste vehicles
  • Decant, clean, repackage, store and dispose of packaged waste
  • Sample and treat packaged waste as directed and/or required
  • Undertake daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment

Requirements:

  • Previous management experience in a similar environment
  • Current forklift licence with a minimum of 12 months experience
  • Excavator and loader tickets (highly advantageous)
  • Current driver's licence Class C
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Zero harm safety mindset
  • Good attitude, reliability and willingness to learn
