Cockburn Cement seeks a seasoned leader to oversee all maintenance activities at our site. This permanent, full-time role will supervise mechanical, electrical, and contractor teams to optimize equipment reliability and performance.

The successful candidate will ensure safe work practices, compliance with regulatory and Adbri standards, and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.

This leadership position involves leading and supervising maintenance teams, developing and implementing maintenance programs, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and statutory requirements.

  • Maintenance Optimization: Develop proactive maintenance strategies to optimize equipment reliability and performance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and supervise maintenance teams to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with planning teams to prioritize work, allocate resources, and support production targets.

Requirements:

We are looking for a strong leader with tertiary qualifications or trade certification in a relevant discipline, minimum 5 years' supervisory experience in heavy industry or mining environments, and a Statutory Supervisor Certificate of Competency.
