Medical Practitioner

Cohealth is a leading provider of healthcare services in Melbourne's Northern and Western suburbs, with multiple clinics operating in Collingwood, Fitzroy, Kensington, Footscray, Braybrook, and Laverton.
We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join our medical team in Laverton. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our team of Registered Nurses, interpreters, and administrators to deliver client-centered, evidence-based care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including respiratory assessment, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions
- Review clients, undertake assessments, and refer or prescribe appropriate care as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Contribute to discussions on improving service quality, safety, and income generation
- Engage in regular meetings with doctors to share knowledge, understanding, and skills
- Must have vocational training and qualifications recognized by the RACGP
- Must become an honorary staff member of RCH as part of employment
- Independent provision and coordination of comprehensive medical care for patients and their families
- Proficiency in undertaking respiratory assessment and referring, prescribing, and informing care as needed
- Participation in clinic staff meetings, business planning, and other activities requiring staff involvement
