Orthopaedic Surgery Opportunity

The Orthopaedic Surgery role presents a unique chance for surgical registrars to gain valuable experience in orthopaedic surgery. As a world-class facility, we provide comprehensive care to both public and private patients.

As an Orthopaedic Surgery Registrar, you will be responsible for assisting consultants with surgical procedures, participating in clinical audits, and contributing to the development of best practices within the department.

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist consultants with surgical procedures, including orthopaedic trauma and elective surgeries
  • Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to the development of best practices within the department
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Completion of medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered medical practitioner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a dynamic team environment
