Roofing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Roofing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing, replacing, maintaining, installing and restoring various roofing materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repairing and replacing damaged or worn-out roofing materials;
  • Maintaining existing roofs to prevent leaks and damage;
  • Installing new roofing materials, including tile, metal, Colourbond, fibreglass and tar;
  • Applying waterproofing membranes to ensure the integrity of the roof;
  • Erecting scaffolds and roof rails to facilitate safe working conditions;
  • Installing verge tiles and flashings to roof penetrations;
  • Working safely at heights while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of roofing tools, equipment, materials and application techniques;
  • Proven ability to organise and prioritise work, completing tasks within set timelines;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with customers and colleagues;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Understanding of and commitment to health and safety regulations.
