LOTE Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate LOTE (Languages Other Than English) teacher to join our dynamic team at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Primary School.

This is a 0.6 FTE position, working Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the Korean language to students and promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity in the classroom.

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
• Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Collaborate with other teachers to integrate language and culture into the curriculum
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Stay up-to-date with best practices in language teaching and learning

• Relevant teaching qualifications and experience
• Strong knowledge of the Korean language and culture
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Commitment to promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity
