Job Title: Community Care Worker

At our organisation, we're committed to helping people of all ages live independently and with dignity. As a Community Care Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting older individuals to maintain their independence and connection to the community.

The Opportunity

You'll be providing a range of care and support services to clients in their own homes. Your responsibilities may include personal care, domestic assistance, social services, meal preparation, housework assistance, transportation, and shopping for accompanied and unaccompanied individuals.

About You

We're seeking a caring and reliable individual who wants to make a positive difference in the lives of older people. In addition to a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support, you should have:

  • Previous experience working in aged care or community care, providing personal care, or a passion to start in this field
  • Good communication skills and ability to build rapport with people
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence with a registered, comprehensively insured car
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses) and current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)
  • A desire to help older people live independently as valued members of the community

Proficiency in a second language is encouraged but not required.
