Job Description:

Mater Private Bundaberg seeks a Quality and Safety Associate to implement quality and risk management systems and improve quality and safety outcomes.

The successful applicant will have advanced skills using the Microsoft Office suite, demonstrated knowledge of health service delivery with appropriate clinical knowledge, experience, and skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and support to Hospital/Service Quality and Safety Manager and clinical department managers to implement quality and risk management systems.
  • Investigate incidents and complaints, coordinate actions to prevent recurrence, and evaluate quality and safety outcome data to identify opportunities for continual improvement.

Requirements:

  • Developed analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, consultation, facilitation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to effectively lead and implement change in a complex environment
