**Job Overview**:

The Mechanical Technician will perform routine technical tasks in an integrated workforce, focusing on electronic-mechanical work and compliance with legislative frameworks.

Key responsibilities include:

- Performing technical activities and associated tasks according to agreed priorities and outcomes.
- Exercising assigned technical authorities and delegations.
- Contributing to the development of technical documentation for review.
- Building and sustaining positive relationships within the team and participating in collaborative activities.
- Interpreting technical packages and participating in scoping, planning, and reviewing processes.
- Assessing reports, processes, product, and equipment performance to meet specified requirements and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring safety aspects are considered and incorporated into technical activities and tasks.

**Requirements:**

- Holding all required licenses and tickets to perform the duties of a Mechanical Technician.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
- Australian Citizenship is mandatory. Licenses such as HR Licence and Forklift Licence are preferred but not necessary.

**Benefits Include:**

- A competitive hourly rate between $43.00 and $47.00 per hour.

**Work Schedule:**

- An 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday.

**Relocation Requirements:**

- The candidate must be able to commute or relocate to Rockingham, WA before commencing work.

**Essential Qualifications:**

- A valid Mechanical Trade Certificate/Licence and authorization to work in Australia are required.
