Supervising Miner Leader

We are seeking a seasoned leader to join our high-performing team as a Mining Supervisor. In this pivotal role, you will provide strong leadership to meet mining and organisational targets, empowering your team to succeed.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direction to a team of mining operators and step-up supervisors.
- Mentor up-and-coming step-ups.
- Foster an inclusive and positive culture.
- Coordinate mining activities to optimise production.
- Ensure coal is prepared for delivery in accordance with daily and weekly plans.
- Manage resources effectively and work closely with dispatch, mine services, and drill & blast.
- Ensure compliance with all HSEC and legislative requirements.
Our ideal candidate possesses a passion for driving performance through effective leadership, with experience in complex mining situations such as steep dipping seams and underground workings. You must have proven leadership capabilities and the ability to lead a diverse team, as well as strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills.
The successful candidate will be empowered to make decisions, build and foster strong working relationships with their team and across all departments, and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
