Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled WHS Coordinator to join our team in Western Australia on a part-time basis. As a WHS Coordinator, you will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective WHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Conduct regular workplace risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Investigate and report on WHS incidents and near misses, and provide guidance on corrective actions.
- Provide training and education to employees on WHS policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate WHS risks.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and industry partners.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with WHS standards.
- Develop and implement effective WHS communication strategies to engage employees and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in WHS or a related field.
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.
- Previous experience in a WHS role, preferably in a healthcare or related industry.
- Knowledge of relevant WHS legislation, regulations, and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
