As a senior Speech Pathologist, you will provide clinical leadership and expertise to a team of professionals.
About The RoleYou will be responsible for assessing client conditions using standardized tools, creating tailored treatment plans, and demonstrating high standards of service delivery and clinical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:- Assessing client conditions and developing optimal treatment plans.
- Creating tailored treatment plans considering client age, abilities, and medical/physical factors.
- Coaching and mentoring the Speech Therapy team to improve the quality of services.
- Conducting regular meetings to develop therapists' skills and guiding them towards external training opportunities.
- Participating in Leadership Meetings to ensure a unified team approach.
- A minimum qualification: Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) from an accredited university.
- Current registration/membership with SPA.
- Experience in managing complex caseloads, assessment, and treatment plan development, supervision of staff or volunteers (preferably in a paediatric environment).
- Strong clinical experience (minimum 3 years postgraduate).
