Radiation Therapy Team Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the team at Icon Cancer Centre in Geelong. The primary purpose of the role is to provide local leadership across the multidisciplinary team and contribute clinically as required, ensuring the daily provision of safe, efficient, and quality radiation therapy in a patient-centred approach. The Site Manager will also be required to drive strategic business initiatives and contribute to developing a high-performance culture that aligns with the vision and values of the organisation. This position operates in a full-time permanent capacity, 76 hours per fortnight (Monday to Friday). The role reports to and is well-supported by the State Manager (VIC), with direct responsibility for operational, financial, and human resource management of the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective leadership and management to the multidisciplinary team
- Establish and maintain the highest standards and continually enhance the quality of service and patient experience
- Financial management, including management of budgets and monitoring, reporting, and forecasting on financial performance against KPIs
- Apply effective resource and workflow management strategies to optimise quality, efficiency, and productivity
- Build and maintain a high-performance culture that delivers quality patient care services through a patient-centred and collaborative approach
- Develop plans for improvement and innovation in service delivery
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with doctors, ensuring a high level of customer service is provided
- Partner with Business Development Managers to develop and implement strategic business initiatives
