Heavy Duty Mechanic Opportunity

As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out daily maintenance and repairs to our fleet of light and heavy vehicles. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safety and reliability of our equipment according to manufacturer specifications.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at Fosterville Cable Bolting. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a reputable organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs to our fleet of vehicles
  • Diagnose and rectify faults on mechanical systems
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
  • Work safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized trade certificate in automotive or related field
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a mine site environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work on Sandvik Drill rigs (ideal)
  • Proven experience in repairing and maintaining heavy earthmoving equipment underground
