Electrical engineers play a pivotal role in shaping the world we live in. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, testing and commissioning various projects including switchyards, renewable energy projects, power factor correction, transportable substations and underground mining equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electrical switchgear design and overhaul, with knowledge of relevant industry standards.Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing the design of key projects and products to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards.
  • Identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement in new and existing product designs.
  • Conducting conceptual and preliminary design work for products to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
  • Developing engineering proposals and solutions for business opportunities, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintaining awareness of relevant industry standards and updating our product range accordingly.
Requirements:
  • Certificate, Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution.
  • Strong experience in electrical switchgear design and overhaul, with knowledge of relevant industry standards.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools and Microsoft Office, with proficiency in software development life cycles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to collaborate with colleagues across different departments.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
