About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Midwife and Nurse to join our clinical team at Calvary Care. As a Dual Registered Nurse and Midwife, you will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and appropriate care to patients in a patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Practice in accordance with Calvary and relevant government health policies and procedures, the position description, code of conduct, and industrial agreements.
  • Provide direct care to mothers and newborns in Calvary's maternity unit.
  • Provide direct care to all patients on St Gerard's ward (women's and children) and use a patient-centered approach to patient assessment.
  • Maintain continuity of care for each patient.
What You Bring
  • Current registration with AHPRA as both a Nurse and a Midwife.
  • Demonstrated recent clinical experience in a neonatal or maternity and an acute care hospital setting.
  • Bachelor Degree in Midwifery or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organization.
