Bangkok-Based Incident Response Expert

Incident Response Specialist plays a pivotal role in safeguarding digital assets from emerging threats. As a Senior Incident Response Specialist, you will spearhead the swift and effective resolution of security incidents while ensuring seamless continuity of operations.
Responsibilities include monitoring and mitigating threats targeting the organization, drafting comprehensive incident reports, and communicating critical updates to senior leadership and stakeholders. Additionally, this role involves crafting playbooks for various incident types, leveraging automation to streamline response efforts and optimize existing security controls.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, programming skills, and hands-on experience with major security incidents. This individual must also be adaptable, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong English communication skills.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Cyber Security, specifically Incident Response, and experience with 24/7 SOC teams
- Strong understanding of NIST, CSF, MITRE and other cybersecurity frameworks
- Programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python or C++) for automating incident response tasks and developing custom security tools
- Ability to write and tune detection rules in different security platforms
- Hands-on experience dealing with major security incidents
