Emergency Department Physiotherapist

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Physiotherapist to join our team in the Emergency Department of North Canberra Hospital.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled physiotherapist to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, delivering high-quality patient-centered care and associated functions to support service delivery in clinical areas.
Clinical supervision and professional development opportunities are provided through team structures, supervision support, competency-based assessments, and professional development initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver physiotherapy services to patients in the Emergency Department, acute inpatient, and specialized outpatient settings.
- Work closely with patients, carers, referrers, other health professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve safe, high-quality patient care.
- Contribute to the multidisciplinary management of patients across the care continuum.
- Support patient flow and maximize patient outcomes by collaborating with the physiotherapy and multidisciplinary team.
