Job Title

Classroom Teacher and Learning Facilitator

This is a dynamic position responsible for creating an educational environment that fosters growth, development, and academic success for students in specific grades/subject areas.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Create engaging lesson plans to meet individual student needs and provide written evidence of preparation to supervisors/administrators upon request.
  2. Establish clear classroom behavior expectations and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  3. Assess student progress on an established timetable and provide regular feedback to parents/guardians, administrators, and selected staff.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and instructional materials aligned with state and school requirements.
  5. Confers with parents, specialists, and mental health staff to develop personalized educational programs for students.
  6. Develop and implement learning strategies to improve sensory motor and perceptual-motor development, perception, memory language communication skills, cognition social, and emotional development.
  7. Motivate students to achieve their full potential by providing consistent reinforcement of learning skills and continuous assessment and feedback.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records as required by law, district, and administrative regulations.
  9. Support administration in implementing policies and rules governing student activities and conduct.
Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree and endorsement in the grade/subject taught with a valid teaching certificate. Must be highly qualified and physically/mentally able to perform job duties.
