Job Title: Transactional Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transactional Team Lead to join our team at Verbrec. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing transactional functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, as well as day-to-day banking administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee AP and AR functions, including bank administration and month-end related tasks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Liaise with external suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding supplier invoice queries.
  • Manage and review AR tasks, including receipting and reporting.
  • Oversee and manage the invoice finance facility.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and cash balance reporting.
  • Manage unreconciled bank items with AP and AR.
  • Assist with payroll reconciliations and employee-related questions.
Requirements:
  • More than 2 years' experience in bank administration, accounts payable, and/or receivable functions.
  • Previous finance systems experience, preferably with Workday.
  • Flexible and willingness to learn new skills and gain new experience.
  • Ability to analyze problems and initiate solutions.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
