Quality Assurance Expert

 

Job Summary:

 

  • Develop, implement and monitor project quality management plans to ensure client requirements are met.
  • Conduct detailed assessments of products and components at various production stages, overseeing fabrication processes by company and subcontractors.
  • Perform quality audits across projects, fabrication facilities, and supplier facilities, maintaining project quality audit schedules.
  • Liaise with clients' quality departments, attend weekly QA coordination meetings, and provide ongoing reporting on project quality issues.
  • Investigate quality defects, implement corrective actions, and report to management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

As a Quality Assurance Expert, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring project quality management plans. This includes conducting detailed assessments of products and components at various production stages, overseeing fabrication processes by company and subcontractors, and performing quality audits across projects, fabrication facilities, and supplier facilities.

 

Requirements:

 

  • 8 years' experience in quality management/engineering or project management operating in the construction environment.
  • Experience in systems-oriented mechanical and electrical work and commissioning aspects of electrical work would be an advantage.
  • Holds professional membership (Chartered Quality Institute) or working towards this level.
  • A good understanding of risk management processes would be advantageous.
