About the Opportunity

Are you looking for a challenging role where you can make a difference in your community?

We are currently seeking a skilled Technical Assistant to join our Pre-Analytical Specimen Reception team at the John Hunter Hospital on a casual basis.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage high volumes of specimens, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Work collaboratively with laboratory staff to deliver a patient-focused service.
  • Contribute to a dynamic team environment, providing support and assistance as needed.
About You

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about patient care, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Apart from your technical skills, you will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through learning and development opportunities, including in-house training with RTO My Health Learning.

What We Can Offer You
  • A competitive salary package, estimated to be around $65,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
