Job Description

This is a 4-year fixed-term apprenticeship in carpentry where you will learn specialist practical skills and knowledge. You will work with a qualified tradesperson on construction, erection, installation, finish and maintenance of Council assets for public, residential and commercial buildings.

About the Role
  • Learn and perform carpentry tasks under supervision
  • Assist with construction, erection, installation, finish and maintenance of Council assets
  • Participate in on-the-job training and formal training to obtain Certificate III Carpentry & Joinery
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Interest in working outdoors and learning new skills
  • Desire to complete a Certificate III Carpentry & Joinery
  • Ability to commit to a 4-year apprenticeship term
