Culinary Team Member

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Team Member to join our team at Gatton College. This is a hands-on role where you will ensure food offered meets exceptional standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Produce delicious culinary offerings that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
  • Maintain high standards of kitchen procedures and operations, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Respond to queries from colleagues and students in a timely and efficient manner, providing accurate information and support.
  • Show initiative to take on additional duties with shifting priorities and flexibility, demonstrating adaptability and a positive attitude.

Requirements

  • Able to use own initiative to help others and carry out extra tasks when required, demonstrating a proactive approach to teamwork and problem-solving.
  • Talent and drive to work under pressure, unsupervised and to tight deadlines, showcasing exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations, including health and safety protocols and food preparation techniques.
  • Possess passion for understanding WHS, Food Safety & HACCP regulations, applying this knowledge in daily activities.
