Senior Occupational Therapist

Ability Action Australia is a leading provider to the NDIS, supporting over 10,000 participants every year with essential care.


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic occupational therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will provide supports to cover NDIS participants living in various areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services.
  • Assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
  • Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance participants' quality of life and meet their goals.
  • Mentor and nurture early career clinicians.
  • Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload.
  • A proactive attitude and interest in continually developing your skills.
  • Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists.
  • A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
