We are seeking a skilled and experienced Critical Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at one of our state-of-the-art data centers.
As a Critical Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of critical systems, including power distribution, HVAC, fire suppression, and plumbing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of our data center infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and repair of critical systems, including power distribution, HVAC, fire suppression, and plumbing
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of our data center infrastructure
- Management of vendor relationships for major works, planned repairs, and maintenance
- Response to Building Monitoring System (BMS) alarms and escalation to Controls Engineering team as needed
- Commissioning and project work as required
Requirements:
- Practical experience in critical facility operations
- Engineering-related degree or trade qualifications with a focus on building services
- Strong customer mindset and experience handling conflict resolution, customer queries, and building relationships
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in time-sensitive situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
