Critical Infrastructure Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Critical Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at one of our state-of-the-art data centers.

As a Critical Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of critical systems, including power distribution, HVAC, fire suppression, and plumbing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of our data center infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and repair of critical systems, including power distribution, HVAC, fire suppression, and plumbing
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of our data center infrastructure
  • Management of vendor relationships for major works, planned repairs, and maintenance
  • Response to Building Monitoring System (BMS) alarms and escalation to Controls Engineering team as needed
  • Commissioning and project work as required

Requirements:

  • Practical experience in critical facility operations
  • Engineering-related degree or trade qualifications with a focus on building services
  • Strong customer mindset and experience handling conflict resolution, customer queries, and building relationships
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in time-sensitive situations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
