Role Summary

Our company is seeking a highly skilled Marine Technical Coordinator to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our crew, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the top-notch performance, safety, and operational excellence of our tugboats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Coordination: Steer the coordination of timely maintenance and repairs for our tugboats, collaborating seamlessly with crew and vendors.
  • Budget Management: Work alongside technical superintendents to scope, estimate, and manage works within planned and emergency dry docking programs.
  • Supply Chain Mastery: Navigate through the complexities of inventory management, ordering, negotiating, and ensuring all essential tools are available.
  • Engineering Expertise: Design and execute preventative maintenance schedules for our tugboats, ensuring they're always ready for operation during voyages.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and swiftly resolve technical issues when challenges arise.
  • Custodian of Safety: Implement best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards, keeping your crew and tugboats secure on their journey.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Strong marine engineering and maintenance background.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Driver's License.
