Construction Risk Management Professional

To support the growth and development of a leading construction risk management team, we are seeking an experienced, motivated, and client-focused professional to join our Sydney-based team.

The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to assist senior brokers and advisors with the development and implementation of risk management and insurance programs for top contracting and construction businesses in Australia. You will build effective long-term relationships with key client decision makers through exceptional customer service, meetings, and regular communication.

We count on you to:

  • Work with senior brokers to understand clients' business, risk management, and insurance needs, with a focus on the construction industry and contracting practices.
  • Assist with implementing renewal and broking strategies according to instructions from the Managing Principal, including negotiations with insurers.
  • Analyze claims data, produce reports, and support claims management and negotiations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate production of invoices, quotations, policy documentation, endorsements, and reports.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records.
  • Address client queries and participate in client training sessions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in broking, underwriting, or legal environments, preferably related to construction.
  • Relevant broking qualifications (Tier 1 Compliance) and related studies are preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of broking principles, client reports, proposals, and renewals.
