Main Responsibilities
  • Lead architectural design decisions across multiple platforms and products, balancing short-term needs with long-term scalability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams, product managers, and business leaders to align technical solutions with strategic goals.
  • Shape technical direction and influence best practices in system design, integration, and platform evolution across domains like property, lending, and data services.
  • Mentor and empower senior engineers and architects, supporting their growth and elevating engineering standards.
  • Stay close to the code where needed, this is not an ivory tower role.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with 3-4 years in a dedicated architecture or principal engineering role.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering complex, modern software architectures across cloud-native, service-oriented, and event-driven systems.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive decisions with strong technical judgment.
  • Skilled communicator who can articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working across multi-team environments and influencing without formal authority.
