Wollongong Mechanic Job

We are seeking an experienced and qualified mechanic to join our team in Wollongong, NSW.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for diagnosing damaged suspension parts and mechanical components, dismantling and fitting new parts, and quality controlling and inspecting vehicles. You will also perform wheel alignments, carry out system updates, label parts, and check new parts for correctness and damage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose damaged suspension parts and mechanical components
  • Dismantle and fit new mechanical and suspension parts
  • Quality control and inspection of vehicles
  • Test driving vehicles to ensure they meet quality repair standards
  • Perform wheel alignments
  • Carry out system updates to diagnostic computers and wheel alignment computers when necessary
  • Label parts and store
  • Check new parts are correct and undamaged
  • Perform any adaptations based on completed diagnoses
About You:

We are looking for someone with experience and training as a qualified mechanic, a strong commitment to safety, and a desire to grow and build skills. You should have good communication skills, high attention to detail, and be process-driven. You should also be able to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in your approach to work.
